About the exhibition
Liminal Space brings together Angela Pietribiasi, Beppe Graneris and Claudio Rotta Loria, curated by Monica Rolfini. The title draws on the idea of the threshold: an intermediate condition between places, moments and states of mind, where transformation becomes possible.
Angela Pietribiasi
Angela Pietribiasi’s CELLULE project explores transitions in the body through an abstract vision of mitochondria, the cellular organelles involved in producing energy for growth and reproduction.
Beppe Graneris
Beppe Graneris approaches painting as a space in continuous transition. Essential forms and colour invite each viewer to develop an individual perceptual reading of the work.
Claudio Rotta Loria
Claudio Rotta Loria’s Chromatic Iterations draw on limen, the threshold, and the Japanese concept of ma: the interval or void that both separates and connects. These ideas frame an experience of suspension, silence and the relationship between inside and outside.
