Claudio Rotta Loria

Claudio Rotta Loria was born in Turin in 1949 and trained in the context of Italian programmed art. His research explores visual structure, optical perception and the relationship between art and science, with particular attention to the methods and procedures that produce the work.

Since 1968, his work has developed through interconnected cycles within a coherent overall project. A co-founder of Ti.zero, the experimental centre for aesthetic research in Turin, he has presented solo exhibitions and large installations in Italy and abroad.
