About the exhibition

AERIA explores Li Dongxia’s connection with nature: the animal and plant kingdoms, water, earth, air and light. The brochure’s text by Ilaria Mantovani describes an artistic journey in which organic materials become a medium for transformation, movement and lightness.

Her practice combines Chinese woodblock printing, ink, organic fabrics and plant-based dyes. Light, air and water participate in the process. Rather than planning every form, she works with the qualities of the materials and the rhythms of nature.
